Life Coach You, helping people to overcome unpleasant or habitual issues that are affecting their lives and causing problems which have progressed to unhappiness.
Many people will suffer from issues such as depression, anxiety, phobias, panic attacks and other disturbing problems at various stages throughout their life’s journey. Most of the time these can be overcome without any help. It is when a problem starts to interfere with a person’s life that some people seek the help of a life coach, counselor, therapist, mentor, or consultant.
What is the difference between a mentor, counselor, consultant and life coach?
It can be totally confusing if someone is seeking a professional to help them with an issue or issues. Let’s define this in simple terms.
This involves teaching, guiding and advising their client.
A counselor would address emotional and disturbance issues, possibly exploring the earlier years of their client’s life.
A consultant is about productivity for a client’s business and will advise a client how to go about doing something or do that something for them.
A Life Coach – This is Me!
A life coach will focus on the present time and not the past. They will not advise the client what to do but will allow the client to decide where they want to be in the future and help them achieve their goal.
My life coaching business offers online one to one sessions with a sincere commitment to delivering professional guidance that empowers people to live the life they truly want through empathetic listening, dedication and setting realistic and attainable goals with the client that will lead to them achieving the beneficial changes they desire.
Complete confidentiality is of high importance and the client can be assured of this. Any data that is held will be safely kept and destroyed in accordance with the data protection act 1998.
I am solely a life coach who enjoys helping people from all walks of life. I am not a therapist, psychologist or counselor. Therapists, Counselors, and psychologists are trained professionals who deliver a specific type of service to a client.
For example, if someone is suffering from severe depression rather than a mild form, they should first consult with their doctor who will probably prescribe medication and may suggest the services of a counselor, therapist or psychologist. The same would apply to someone who is having serious problems relating to alcohol. These types of deep serious issues need professional medical guidance.
Let’s take a journey together from feeling a little lost to finding ourselves and achieving those life-changing goals.
